1. Data controller

OperaMetrix, a SAS (French simplified joint-stock company), registered under number 853 004 703 (Toulouse), registered office: Immeuble ID Balma, 2 rue Jean Giono, 31130 Balma, France, is the controller of personal data collected on the Marketplace. Contact: support@operametrix.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data: email, name, company, password (stored hashed).

Order and billing data: purchase history, billing address and VAT number (collected by our payment provider), issued licenses.

Support data: ticket content and module reviews you publish.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed to: create and manage the customer account (performance of the contract); process orders, invoicing and license delivery (performance of the contract and legal accounting obligations); provide technical support (performance of the contract); secure the site and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).

No data is used for marketing without consent, nor sold to third parties.

4. Recipients and processors

Data is accessible only to authorized OperaMetrix staff and to processors strictly necessary to the service: Stripe (payment and invoicing), Inductive Automation (generation of Ignition module licenses), our hosting provider and our email provider.

Some processors may be located outside the European Union; where applicable, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

5. Retention periods

Account data is kept while the account is active, then deleted or anonymized. Billing data is kept for ten (10) years in accordance with accounting obligations. Licenses are kept for their entire validity period. Audience-measurement data is kept for thirteen (13) months, then deleted automatically.

6. Cookies

The Marketplace uses cookies strictly necessary for the service to work (authentication session, cart, download details). They do not require your consent.

A preference cookie also records your answer to the audience-measurement banner, so that we do not ask again on every visit. You can change your mind at any time through the "Cookies" link in the footer.

No advertising cookie is set, and no data is sent to an ad network or a third-party analytics tool.

7. Audience measurement

We measure site traffic to learn which pages and which modules our visitors care about. This measurement runs on our own servers: no data is sent to a third party.

No tracking cookie is set. Your IP address is never stored: it is only used, at request time, to derive your country and to compute a non-reversible technical fingerprint, salted with a value that is rotated every day. That fingerprint only prevents the same visit from being counted twice within a day, and nothing more: it cannot re-identify you the next day, nor recover your IP address.

The measurement is anonymous by default: it only produces aggregate statistics and is not linked to any account. As such it falls under audience measurement exempted from consent within the meaning of the French data protection authority's guidance.

If you accept the measurement through the banner, and only then, your browsing is additionally linked to your customer account or to the email address you left us to download a module. We use that link to understand our customers' journey; it stops as soon as you change your mind.

You may decline the measurement at any time, with no consequence on your use of the site: visits already recorded on the same day are then deleted. The "Cookies" link in the footer lets you revisit your choice whenever you wish.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to support@operametrix.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
